How you can help Fundraise for us Make A Donation Donate We rely on the work of our amazing fundraisers to ensure that all of our projects in Uganda continue to exist. We do everything we can to get behind the incredible people who fundraise to help change lives in Africa - whether you need a team of volunteers to man your event, publicity, or a listening ear - do get in touch. We’re open to all wacky and wonderful ideas! Hold a Charity Event Perhaps you’d like to put on your own charity fundraiser? We do our best to support people holding their own fundraising events through helping with publicity via social media and rustling up valuable volunteers to give you a hand. Previous events have included: a fashion show, cycling marathon, a Chinese banquet, a cinema viewing and auction, a quiz night, charity cake sale, music gig, cream tea, plant sale and a barbeque. Holding charity fundraisers can be great fun whilst providing experience in event organisation! Any amount you raise at your chosen event goes a long way towards transforming lives in Uganda. Are you ready to go? Set up your own your own Amigos fundraising page. Organise a Sponsored Charity Event Raise some money for Amigos and do something incredible at the same time! A sponsored event is a great way to fundraise and many supporters have contributed to Amigos in this way, from swimming 10K in the Dart Estuary, cycling from John O’Groats to Land’s End, to doing a pony ride in pyjamas. It's a great way to tick something off the bucket list whilst raising vital funds for charity. Once you have set up a page, people can donate online, add on Gift Aid and track your progress. Tom Matthew ran 100 miles in 5 days for Amigos! He ran 10 miles to and back from school every day for a school week, ending each day with an ice bath and raised £3,450! Give for free! Money for nothing? Raise money by shopping online through Give as you Live to shop online at your usual stores and help Amigos to support more people to work their way out of poverty. Simply find the store you want on their website and select 'shop now' to start raising funds for Amigos with no extra cost to you! Finally, thank you for fundraising for Amigos.
